In line with its NGO members’ wishes, Coalition Eau is set up as an informal network. Its structure is similar to that of a non-profit association.
Coalition Eau consists of:
- A Plenary Assembly of all NGO members that defines the intervention strategies;
- A Coordination Group, which supervises and supports the Permanent Secretariat to implement activities. This Coordination Group is composed of 6 NGOs: Action contre la Faim, Eau Vive, GRET, Secours Catholique – Caritas France, Secours Islamique France and WECF;
- Working Groups that develop common positions and implement specific activities;
- A Permanent Secretariat, which has two members of staff who coordinate and carry out activities.
Coalition Eau does not have its own specific legal structure as our members have opted for a more informal set-up. Instead, we are a network of NGOs administratively, financially and legally hosted by Eau Vive, the NGO coordinator of Coalition Eau.
